PDML Photo Annual 2013 – ISBN 978-0-9830664-6-0
Now it its fifth edition, PDML Photo Annual is published to showcase the work of some talented photographers and
support pediatric medical research and treatment worldwide through the Global Health Initiative of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children's Hospital.
The contributors are members of the Pentax-Discuss Mail List from around the world. Their styles are as varied as their backgrounds. You'll see black & white street photography, expansive landscapes, expressive portraits, sports, macro, abstract, travel, wildlife and various combinations of the above.
Each 8" x 10" book contains about 120 pages, including the best photographs of PDML members plus the infamous PDML Quotations list, a treasure trove of wisdom and absurdity as diverse and odd as the PDML itself. (Note: Some of the more risqué quips from the web page have been omitted from the print version.)

E-Book Version Available
The PDML Photo Annual 2013 is available as an ebook in the open-standard .epub format that you can view on your iPad, Android tablet, Nook Color or even your computer using MobiPocketReader, FB Reader or any of the other free ebook reader apps. (To protect our photographer's copyrights somewhat, images in the e-book are limited to 800 pixels width – the width of a typical tablet screen.)
Not only does the ebook cost less than the paper version, it generates more money for the Global Health Initiative (Your entire $6.00 donation, less Pay Pal's fee.) It's a win-win. (It's also available for Windows, Mac, Blackberry and Linux platforms, though I haven't tried any of them.)

NOTE: The ebook version is compatible with most ebook readers, but not the Amazon Kindle, due
to Amazon's rather ominous refusal to support the open standard .epub electronic book format.
You can, however, convert any ePub book into Mobi format (which the Kindle can read) with

These are free applications. They will only work for the recent Kindle Fire, but since this is a book of color photographs and the Kindle Fire is the only Kindle
with a color screen, that should be sufficient.
