Although the most common way of describing a pixel is the red/green/blue method just explained, there are three other color defenitions you may encounter: (Mouse over the bullet points)
Red, green and blue values expressed in hexadecimal (from 00-FF) or decimal (0-255).
Color is expressed in cyan, magenta, yellow and black values (0-100%).
Defines color in terms of hue, saturation and brightness.
Defines color in terms of luminance and color values, A (which varies from green to red) and B (blue to yellow).
